New Issue: HSBC USA prices $354,000 leveraged buffered notes on iShares MSCI EM

Knoxville, Tenn., July 19 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $354,000 of 0% leveraged buffered capped notes due June 27, 2018 tied to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.7 times any fund gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,263.50 for each $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
