HSBC plans to price trigger PLUS due 2020 linked to FTSE 100 index

Morgantown, W.Va., June 30 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% trigger Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due July 7, 2020 linked to the FTSE 100 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus at least 205% of the return.

If the index falls by up to the 70% trigger level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, the payout will be par plus the index return with full exposure to any losses.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.

The notes will price on July 1.

The Cusip number is 40434V541.
