New Issue: HSBC prices $14.56 million leveraged buffered notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Knoxville, Tenn., June 16 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $14.56 million of 0% leveraged buffered capped notes due June 19, 2018 tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,300 per $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
