HSBC plans jump securities tied to WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity fund

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 22 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% jump securities due Aug. 29, 2016 linked to the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 11%. If the final share price is equal to the initial share price, the payout will be par. If the final share price is less than the initial share price, investors will have one-to-one exposure to the decline.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.

The notes (Cusip: 40434N689) will price on Feb. 24 and settle Feb. 29.
