New Issue: HSBC prices $328,000 barrier enhanced notes linked to S&P 500 index

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 28 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $328,000 of 0% barrier enhanced participation notes due Jan. 29, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 108% of any index gain. If the index falls by up to 25%, the payout at maturity will be par. If the index declines beyond 25%, investors will be fully exposed to losses.
