HSBC to price barrier enhanced notes due 2021 linked to Euro Stoxx 50

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 2 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% barrier enhanced participation notes due Dec. 28, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to an FWP filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 135% to 145% of any index gain. The exact upside participation rate will be set at pricing. If the index falls by up to 40%, the payout at maturity will be par. If the index declines beyond 40%, investors will be fully exposed to losses.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Dec. 18 settle on Dec. 28.

The Cusip number is 40433UDT0.
