New Issue: HSBC prices $985,000 buffered securities linked to iShares MSCI ACWI

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 13 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $985,000 of 0% buffered market participation securities due Nov. 16, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI ACWI exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the ETF return, subject to a 20% maximum return. Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by 20% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the ETF declines beyond 20%.
