New Issue: HSBC prices $1.7 million return enhanced notes linked to pharma stocks

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 24 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.7 million of 0% return enhanced notes due Feb. 23, 2017 linked to a basket of three equally weighted common stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying companies are AstraZeneca plc, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Merck & Co., Inc.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 180.5% of the basket return. If the basket return is negative, investors will have one-to-one exposure to the decline.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter, and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
