New Issue: HSBC sells $3.76 million Buffered PLUS on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Madison, Wis., Feb. 4 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.76 million of 0% Buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Aug. 5, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 27%.

If the fund falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par.

Investors will be exposed to any fund decline beyond 10%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC handling distribution.
