HSBC plans two-year AMPS linked to iShares FTSE China Large-Cap

Chicago, Jan. 8 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Jan. 22, 2016 linked to the iShares FTSE China Large-Cap exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.95 times to 2.05 times any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return at least 50%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Jan. 17 and settle on Jan. 23.

The Cusip number is 40432XRZ6.
