New Issue: HSBC prices $3.72 million performance barrier notes linked to indexes

Madison, Wis., Oct. 2 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.72 million of 0% performance barrier notes due Oct. 3, 2016 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes equal weights of the Hang Seng China Enterprises index, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index 200, the MSCI Taiwan index, the Hang Seng index and the MSCI Singapore Free index.

If the basket return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus 171% of the basket return. Investors will receive par if the basket declines by 30% or less and will be fully exposed to the basket decline if it falls by more than 30%.
