New Issue: HSBC prices $2.21 million buffered uncapped securities tied to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 26 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $2.21 million of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due Jan. 29, 2015 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 23% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 23%.
