New Issue: HSBC sells $1.05 million buffered uncapped notes linked to S&P 500, iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, Nov. 8 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.05 million of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due Nov. 9, 2017 linked to an index and a fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 70% weight and the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund with a 30% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.48 times any gain in the basket.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
