New Issue: HSBC prices $7.21 million trigger performance notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Oct. 28 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $7.21 million of 0% trigger performance securities due Oct. 29, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 2.14 times any gain in the index.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 50% and will be fully exposed to any declines if the index drops by more than the buffer amount.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter, and UBS Financial Services Inc. is the placement agent.
