New Issue: HSBC sells $679,000 buffered uncapped market notes on iShares MSCI EAFE

Chicago, Oct. 26 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $679,000 of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due Oct. 29, 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the fund.

Investors will receive par if the shares fall by up to 17% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 17%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. will act as agent.
