New Issue: HSBC prices another $10,000 buffered AMPS on iShares MSCI Brazil

New York, Aug. 27 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $10,000 more of its 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Feb. 29, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Brazil index fund, adding to the original $674,000 of notes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any increase in the exchange-traded fund's share price, subject to a maximum return of 27%. Investors will receive par if the share price falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
