New Issue: HSBC prices $1.66 million 15-month AMPS linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., April 27 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.66 million of 0% Accelerated Market Participation Securities due July 28, 2011 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 16.5%. Investors will be exposed to any index decline.
