New Issue: HSBC prices $9.04 million capped buffer gears on S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 21 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $9.04 million of 0% capped buffer gears due Dec. 19, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus double any index gain, up to a maximum return of par plus 26.15%.

If the index declines up to 15%, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline below 15%.
