New Issue: HSBC sells $170,000 leveraged buffered uncapped notes on EAFE ETF

Olympia, Wash., March 30 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $170,000 of 0% leveraged buffered uncapped market participation securities due March 27, 2024 tied to the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.13 times any ETF gain.

Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
