New Issue: HSBC prices $750 million in 30-year 6.5% global notes at Treasuries plus 175 bps

Omaha, Sept. 5 - HSBC Holdings plc priced $750 million in 30-year 6.5% global subordinated notes at a spread of Treasuries plus 175 basis points, according to an informed source.

The notes (Aa3/A+) have a price of 99.763 with a yield of 6.518%.

Sole bookrunner was HSBC Securities.

Proceeds will be used to support development and further strengthen the company's capital base.

HSBC is based in London and is one of the largest banking and financial services in the world.
