S&P raises, withdraws HSBC Bank Canada

S&P said it upgraded HSBC Bank Canada’s ratings to AA- from A+, removed it from CreditWatch with positive implications and withdrew the ratings.

The rating actions follow Royal Bank of Canada, rated AA-, closing its acquisition of HSBC Bank Canada on Thursday, the agency said.
