HSBC Bank Argentina to sell Ps. 120 million of notes due 2013 at par

Pittsburgh, Aug. 12 - HSBC Bank Argentina SA plans to sell up to Ps. 120 million of class 3 variable-rate notes due 2013 at par under its $1 billion global notes program, according to a news release.

The issuance amount can be increased to Ps. 150 million.

The subscription period begins on Aug. 15 and will expire on Aug. 18.

The minimum subscription amount will be Ps. 400,000, and the notes will be sold in Ps. 1,000 increments.

The notes have been rated AAA (arg) by Fitch Argentina Calificadora de Riesgo SA and Aaa.ar by Moody´s Latin America Calificadora de Riesgo SA.

The issuer is a Buenos Aires-based bank.
