Croatia’s Hrvatska Elektroprivreda extends tender offer for 6% notes

Chicago, Oct. 14 – Hrvatska Elektroprivreda dd said it extended the tender offer for its $500 million 6% notes due Nov. 9, 2017.

The tender offer now will run until 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 15, extended from 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 14, according to a company notice. The offer began Oct. 7.

As previously announced, the purchase price will be $1,063.75 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes plus accrued interest up to but excluding the settlement date of Oct. 23, extended from Oct. 21.

The tender offer is conditioned on the pricing of a new notes issue.

The company is tendering for the notes to “proactively manage the offeror’s debt maturity profile and repayment schedule,” according to a previous company press release.

Hrvatska Elektroprivreda is a national power company based in Zagreb, Croatia.
