New Issue: India’s Housing Development sells Rs. 30 billion 6.99% notes due 2023

Chicago, Feb. 10 – Housing Development Finance Corp. Ltd. has priced Rs. 30 billion of 6.99% senior secured notes due Feb. 13, 2023, according to a notice.

The notes carry a Rs. 20 billion greenshoe.

The non-callable, non-puttable notes will be allotted on Feb. 13.

Proceeds will be used to augment the long-term resources of the company, specifically for financing and/or refinancing the housing finance business requirements of the corporation.

The arranger for the issue is Icici Bank Ltd.

The Mumbai-based issuer provides housing financing to individuals and lease finance facilities to the corporate sector for plant and machinery, energy generation and other assets.
