New Issue: India’s Housing Development issues Rs. 5 billion 7¼% bonds

Norfolk, Va., Oct. 14 – Housing Development Finance Corp. Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it issued Rs. 5 billion of 7¼% bonds to overseas investors.

The issue opened and closed on Friday, according to a term sheet.

The bonds mature on Jan. 9, 2020.

As previously reported, the bonds will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The Mumbai-based issuer provides housing financing to individuals and lease finance facilities to the corporate sector for plant and machinery, energy generation and other assets.
