Host Hotels & Resorts to use new notes to redeem series D notes

Chicago, Nov. 10 – Host Hotels & Resorts, LP and partner Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. said that it will use the proceeds from a new $450 million offering of series J notes to redeem all of its $400 million 3.75% series D senior notes due 2023, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The redemption date is Dec. 8.

There will be a make-whole premium to redeem the notes.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

Host Hotels is a real estate investment trust based in Bethesda, Md., that owns and operates hotel properties.
