New Issue: Host Hotels sells $75 million tap of 5 7/8% notes due 2019 at 99.375 to yield 5.972%

Portland, Ore., May 19 - Host Hotels & Resorts, LP priced an upsized $75 million fungible add-on to its 5 7/8% series W senior notes due June 15, 2019 (Ba1/BB+/) at 99.375 to yield 5.972% on Thursday, according to an informed source.

The reoffer price came on top of the price talk.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC were the joint bookrunners for the quick-to-market add-on, which was upsized from $50 million.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Host Hotels is a Bethesda, Md.-based real estate investment trust that owns and operates hotel properties.

The original $425 million issue priced at 99.198 to yield 6% on May 5, 2011.
