Host Hotels & Resorts to redeem $250 million 7 1/8% notes due 2013

Cleveland, Oct. 19 - Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced that the proceeds from Host Hotels & Resorts, LP's $500 million senior notes due 2020 private placement offering will be used to redeem at least $250 million of the company's 7 1/8% series K senior notes due November 2013.

Proceeds will also be used for general corporate purposes, future acquisitions or additional debt repayment.

Bethesda, Md.-based Host Hotels is a real estate investment trust that owns and operates hotel properties.
