Hospitality Staffing seeks approval of 90-day exclusivity extension

New York, June 11 – Hospitality Staffing Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a second extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and solicitation periods, according to a Tuesday motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked that its exclusive filing period be extended through Sept. 25 from June 27 and its solicitation period through Nov. 20 from Aug. 22.

While the company claims it has made “significant progress” in its bankruptcy cases so far, “certain critical issues remain, and the debtors require additional time to focus on addressing these issues, administering remaining assets and determining the best course for these cases going forward,” according to the motion.

A hearing is scheduled for July 31.

Hospitality Staffing, an Atlanta-based provider of hospitality staffing services to hotels, resorts and casinos, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 23, 2013. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-12740.
