Hospitality Staffing requests 60-day extension of exclusive periods

By Kali Hays

New York, April 21 - Hospitality Liquidation I, LLC, formerly HSS Holding, LLC, asked a court to allow a 60-day extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and solicitation periods, according to an April 18 motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked that its exclusive filing period be extended through June 27 from April 28 and its solicitation period through August 22 from June 23.

The extension will "ensure that these Chapter 11 cases continue to progress in an effective and efficient manner," allow the company to continue the transition of its operations and allow it to "address other pressing case issues," according to the motion.

A hearing is scheduled for May 28.

Hospitality Staffing, an Atlanta-based provider of hospitality staffing services to hotels, resorts and casinos, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 23. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-12740.
