Hospital Partners gets court OK to hire Alvarez and Marsal, Joseph Bondi to help with restructuring

Portland, Ore., Oct. 22 - Hospital Partners of America, Inc. was granted court approval to hire Alvarez and Marsal North America, LLC to provide management and restructuring services, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Additionally, the company obtained approval to hire Joseph A. Bondi as chief executive and chief restructuring officer.
Hospital Partners of America, a Charlotte, N.C.-based privately held company that develops and operates hospitals, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 24. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12180.
