Health Partners gets interim access to $1.7 million of DIP loan; final hearing Oct. 20

Pittsburgh, Sept. 25 - Hospital Partners of America was granted interim access to $1.7 million of its $2.25 million debtor-in-possession facility from New Enterprise Associates 10, LP, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The final hearing is scheduled for Oct. 20.

Interest will be 10%.

The DIP facility will mature on Nov. 15.

Hospital Partners of America, a Charlotte, N.C.-based privately held company that develops and operates hospitals, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 24. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12180.
