New LifeCare net loss narrows to $2.02 million in month ended June 30

Pittsburgh, Aug. 26 – Hospital Acquisition LLC, which operates numerous New LifeCare and LifeCare medical facilities, reported a $2.02 million net loss for June on zero revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
In comparison, Hospital Acquisition posted a $2.09 million net loss for May, also on zero revenue.
The company did not list any cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, the same as at the end of May.
LifeCare, a Plano, Tex.-based health care consulting and management services company, filed for bankruptcy on May 6, 2019. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-10998.
