S&P gives Horace Mann notes BBB
S&P said it assigned its BBB issue rating to Horace Mann Educators Corp.'s planned $300 million issuance of 7¼% senior unsecured notes due 2028.
The agency last reviewed Horace Mann’s notes on Jan. 24.
Horace Mann is expected to use the proceeds to repay the $249 million borrowing on its credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
The outlook is stable.
