Morgantown, W.Va., April 27 – Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced it priced NT$9 billion of bonds in five tranches.
The bonds were priced at par with maturities of three, five, six, seven and 10 years. The breakdown of the tranches was not disclosed.
The three-year bonds have a coupon of 0.76%; the five-year bonds have a coupon of 0.89%; the six-year bonds have a coupon of 0.96%; the seven-year bonds have a coupon of 1.05%; and the 10-year bonds have a coupon of 1.35%.
MasterLink Securities Corp. is the lead underwriter.
This is the company’s first corporate bond issue for 2018.
Proceeds will be used to pay down short-term debt.
Hon Hai Precision is a Tu-cheng, Taiwan, manufacturer of computer connectors, cable assemblies and enclosures.
