Morgantown, W.Va., June 2 – Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced it priced NT$9 billion of bonds in seven tranches.
The bonds were priced at par with maturities of two, three, 4˝, five, six, seven and 10 years. The breakdown of the tranches was not disclosed.
The two-year bonds have a coupon of 0.6%; the three-year bonds have a coupon of 0.7%; the 4˝-year bonds have a coupon of 0.75%; the five-year bonds have a coupon of 0.8%; the six-year bonds have a coupon of 0.88%; the seven-year bonds have a coupon of 0.95%; and the 10-year bonds have a coupon of 1.2%.
This is the company’s first corporate bond issue for 2016.
Proceeds will be used to pay down short-term debt.
Hon Hai Precision is a Tu-cheng, Taiwan, manufacturer of computer connectors, cable assemblies and enclosures.
