Hong Kong Electric pulls 10-year dollar notes; talk was 140 bps area

St. Louis, Nov. 24 Hong Kong Electric postponed its planned sale of dollar-denominated 10-year bonds due to market conditions on Wednesday, according to a market source.

HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Chartered were leading the deal.

Talk had been for a spread in the area of 140 basis points over Treasuries.
