HSBC lines up $20 billion medium-term-note program

Columbus, Ohio, March 13 – Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd. applied to list a $20 billion medium-term-note program, according to a notice.

HSBC is the arranger.

The company may issue notes under the program within 12 months after March 13.

Listing of the program on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. is expected to be effective Monday.

HSBC, the largest bank in Hong Kong, operates branches throughout the Asia Pacific region and around the world.
