New Issue: Hong Kong Telecommunications unit sells $500 million 3¼% notes

Los Angeles, Sept. 30 – Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd. subsidiary HKT Capital No. 5 Ltd. issued $500 million of 3¼% guaranteed notes due 2029, according to a notice.

Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch, ING Bank NV, Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd., Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc and Standard Chartered Bank are the bookrunners.

The telecommunications company is based in Hong Kong.
