Moody's gives Hong Kong Mortgage notes Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned long-term local- and foreign-currency Aa3 ratings to Hong Kong Mortgage Corp. Ltd.’s planned Hong Kong dollar-, U.S. dollar- and CNH-denominated senior unsecured social notes.

The notes will be issued under the issuer's U.S. $30 billion medium-term note program.

“The Aa3 ratings for the notes are in line with HKMC's long-term senior unsecured MTN program rating of (P)Aa3, and reflect the structure of the proposed issuance,” Moody’s said in a press release.

HKMC's outlook is stable.
