New Issue: Hong Kong auctions HK$2.2 billion of 0.79%, 1.57% bonds in two tranches

Minneapolis, June 14 - Hong Kong sold HK$2.2 billion of exchange fund notes in two tranches through an auction on Friday.
Hong Kong sold HK$1 billion of 0.79% bonds due June 18, 2018 at an average price of 99.81 and an average yield of 0.83%. Bids were received for HK$2.75 billion of the bonds.
The government also sold HK$1.2 billion of 1.57% bonds due June 13, 2016 at an average tender price of 103.39 and an average yield of 0.43%. Bids were received for HK$3.82 billion of the bonds.
