New Issue: Hong Kong auctions HK$1.2 billion of 0.59% three-year notes

Tacoma, Wash., May 17 - Hong Kong sold HK$1.2 billion of 0.59% exchange fund notes due May 20, 2013 in an auction on Tuesday, according to an announcement.

The average tender price accepted was 100.2. The average yield is 0.49%.

Bids were received for HK$9.73 billion of bonds. The average tender price received was 100.1 for an average tender yield of 0.54%.

The authority did not receive any non-competitive bids.
