Home Products International’s bankruptcy case converted to Chapter 7

Olympia, Wash., July 26 – Home Products International, Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case was converted to Chapter 7 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Wednesday, according to an order.
The official committee of unsecured creditors had filed a motion seeking the conversion.
The Chicago-based manufacturer of storage, home organization and laundry care products filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 2, 2022 under case number 22-06283.
