Home Interiors posts $22,625 July operating loss on zero sales

New York, Aug. 18 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported an operating loss of $22,625 in July on zero sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The company reported a $2.96 million net loss for July, compared to $2.75 million for June.

It had $11.17 million in cash at the end of July, down from $12.18 million at the end of June.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
