Home Interiors & Gifts posts $2.97 million April net loss, no revenue

Portland, Ore., May 20 - Home Interiors & Gifts reported a $2.97 million net loss for April on zero revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The figures compared with a $14.62 million net loss for the month ended March 31 on $235,935 in revenues.

Home Interiors had unrestricted cash of $11.74 million at the end of April, down from $16.31 million at March 31.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
