Moody's assigns Hologic, loan Ba3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 corporate family rating to Hologic, Inc.

Moody's said it also assigned a Ba3 rating to Hologic's proposed credit facilities and a speculative-grade liquidity rating of SGL-2.

The outlook is stable.

This is the first time Moody's has assigned ratings to Hologic.

Moody's noted that the Ba3 corporate family rating is supported by the considerable size and scale of the combined company and the improvement in Hologic's revenue diversification as a result of the combination with Cytyc.
