Hollinger hires firm to advise on refinancing efforts

New York, Sept. 2 - Hollinger Inc. hired an investment advisory firm for advice on raising equity and/or bridge financing for refinancing purposes and working capital.

There have been some preliminary expressions of interest in an investment in the company, but at this point it is uncertain whether a transaction will actually be completed and if one takes place when it might occur, according to a news release.

Hollinger is a Chicago-based publisher.
