American Apparel plans $30.5 million public offering of common stock

Bookrunner Roth Capital Partners, co-manager Brean Capital will assist

Knoxville, Tenn., March 25 - American Apparel, Inc. said it plans to price a $30.5 million public sale of common stock with a 30-day, $4.58 million over-allotment option.

Roth Capital Partners is the bookrunner, and Brean Capital is the co-manager.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, including the April cash interest payment on the company's senior secured notes.

American Apparel is a Los Angeles-based manufacturer, distributor and retailer of branded fashion basic apparel.
