American Airlines reallocates, extends some revolving commitments

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 8 – American Airlines, Inc. and American Airlines Group Inc. entered into amendments to three revolving credit agreements on Friday to reallocate $250 million among the credit agreements and extend the maturity date of some lenders’ commitments, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The total commitments among the three credit agreements remains $2,842,500,000.

The amended credit agreements include the April 2016 credit agreement, 2013 credit agreement and 2014 credit agreement.

The April 2016 credit agreement was increased by $150 million to $450 million, and some of its lenders extended their commitments to Oct. 11, 2024 from Oct. 13, 2023. Barclays Bank plc is the administrative agent.

The 2013 credit agreement was reduced by $250 million to $750 million, and some of its lenders extended their commitments to Oct. 11, 2024 from Oct. 13, 2023. Deutsche Bank AG, New York Branch is the administrative agent.

The 2014 credit agreement was increased by $100 million to $1,642,500,000, and some of its lenders extended their commitments to Oct. 11, 2024 from Oct. 13, 2023. Citibank NA is the administrative agent.

As of Friday, there were no borrowings or letters of credit outstanding under any of the facilities.

American Airlines is a Fort Worth-based airline company.
