New Issue: Mexico's Hipotecaria su Casita sells $150 million 10-year senior notes at 8½%

New York, Sept. 22 - Hipotecaria su Casita SA de CV Sofol sold a maiden offering of $150 million in 10-year senior notes (Ba3/BB-) at par to yield 8½%, according to a market source.

The notes will be callable after five years at 104.25.

Credit Suisse was the bookrunner for the Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction.

Proceeds will be used to fund mortgage and construction loans.

The issuer, based in Mexico City, is a mortgage company.
